Rather than reaching for some happy pill, which will cause other issues and nasty side effects, allowing yourself a time out to unwind, let go, and just be, will allow you to release that stress naturally without causing damage to the body.

The greatest gift you can give yourself and others is to love yourself as you are.  This is a big step on the road to personal development.  The more you love yourself, the better you treat yourself, the happier and more successful you will be.

We often bring ourselves down through our own negative thought processes.  It can cloud your judgment and make you miss out on the beautiful blessings life has to offer.  When you let go of focusing on the negatives and start focusing on the positives, you will experience much less stress and anxiety, while the confidence you exude will open up many more doors for you.  With the right mindset, you can conquer any challenge.  So, do yourself and the world a great big favor and give yourself a nice positive affirmation as you begin each day.
